At the beginning of 2021, Team Venom Media successfully launched their first comic book title “The Suit” which sold out almost immediately.

Created, written and illustrated by TVM’s founder, Rory Bailey, the first arc took place over 4 issues with a second mini-arc taking place over issues 5 and 6 that tie into the two other digital titles “Team Venom Presents” and “Tales from The Suit”. These lead directly into a planned crossover with the spin-off series by Connor Franks “Sins of Limbo”.

Spin-offs, Crossovers and other projects

With the first story-arc of The Suit finished, Rory and Connor got their heads together to come up with a plan for future comics (Rory had used Connor as a proof reader and consultant on the first 4 issues of The Suit) and they came up with an idea for a crossover between The Suit and Sins of Limbo; Last Rites. Sins of Limbo is Connor’s own comic series, set after the events of Issue 4 of The Suit (and teased in that very comic). So issues 5 & 6 of The Suit as well as “Team Venom Presents” and “Tales From The Suit” were also written to set things up ready for this crossover. Issue 7 of The Suit is available now and forms part 1 of Last Rites.

Rory was also approached by his long-time wrestling buddy, Layton Cole, to create a comic based on his past matches – issue one of which is available now at the merchandise stands at all ASWA: UK shows.

New for 2023!

Following their successful run of comic books, TVM are now expanding into publishing with several projects planned for 2023 and 2024 including the “Team Venom Wrestling Almanac” which will collect several interviews and accounts of the experiences of TVM over our 10 year history
