This week I got the chance to play her majestys spiffing . Her majestys spiffing is a classic adventure game with modern day controls and graphics. Growing up in the 90’s, i was filled with classic adventure games like monkey island , broken sword , discworld ( to name but a few) I have to admit right from the word go that this felt like one of those classics . It has those really pointless and bizarre quests that make no sense in reality but are pefectly normal games like the rubber chicken with a pulley in monkey island or the love custard scenario with the fishmonger in discworld.

The game centres round 2 guys in a spaceship sent by the queen herself to search for new land . The main guy has the name Frank Lee English and is probably one of the most English stereotypes there is . His partner on the voyage is called aled Jones , and yes he is Welsh with another stereotype. I can’t say too much on the game ( which brings me to my next point ) which is because it is so short ! You can actually complete the game in under an hour which is a real shame.

I loved every moment of this game but felt disappointed , I wanted so much more. I guess for all you trophy hunters out there this will be a great game . It does come with a platinum trophy and with its shortness its a quick and easy one to add to the collection . Due to its shortness I haven’t done a video this week as I would probably show you half the game in doing so . I give this game a 8 out of 10 , It would be 10 but not long enough.
