So, last week I finally watched Dirk Gently after ignoring it from my Netflix watch list for YEARS. I’m not going to lie, I missed out. The series is ridiculously good but was tragically cancelled after 2 seasons. Therefore, here are 5 reasons why I, Jo Bailey, think that there should be a third season of Dirk Gently.

1. It is based on the book of the same name, written by Douglas Adams (Also known for “The Hitchhikers Guide to the Galaxy” book series and film). More people might read Douglas Adams for the first time. Getting more people to read is a good thing.

2. It is just the right amount of episodes and time to make it a decent binge watching session. If the episodes are too long or too many, you end up with a multi-day bingeing session. If they are too few, you end up watching multiple seasons in one day and wondering what you should do with your life now?

3. The characters are well thought out with enough flaws to be believable. But also show development throughout the show.

4. Lots of action. 

5. Elijah Wood, enough said.
